I did this with frames, prints, and other textures to make it feel homier. Since pink is my primary color I knew that other items either needed to be a neutral or compliment pink nicely. This is so fun to switch out weekly, monthly, or seasonally with quirky or inspirational sayings. The pink letterboard was really the piece that spurred the pink color scheme. To be cost-efficient I just ran with it instead of buying all new things. I actually don’t love the color pink but my previous job was all about pink and a lot of the items I have in my cube now came from that office since I purchased them myself. To make everything look more cohesive I tried to stick to a rough color scheme. It’s inexpensive and takes little to no time to hang up, but makes a huge difference.

It’s also great because once you get tired of it you can just take it down and switch out with something new. I actually used super thin straight pins because I didn’t want to see thumbtacks everywhere, but you could also use a stapler to staple it up. I grabbed a super cheap roll of wrapping paper at Target and cut it and pinned it to size and voila! It changed my cube drastically and it feels so much happier and brighter. One day I had an idea! My walls are pushpin friendly so I decided I was going to cover it in wrapping paper! It had these boring grey-ish brown walls and no matter how much I tried to make it look cute it just wasn’t happening.
